Badger Trust marks 6 October each year as National Badger Day, and the whole of October is celebrated as #Brocktober. For 2026, Badger Trust is focusing on the message “Badgers Belong Here”, highlighting how badgers have been part of British landscapes for thousands of years and help shape habitats through digging, foraging and seed dispersal.
